We’ve had the great opportunity to be on the last 2 of Local 782’s compilations.  The second of which was just released last night.  The cd contains 14 tracks from San Antonio artists. We had the opportunity to start off the CD release festivities at the first of 3 nights celebrating the cd.  We played at Tonic on a great bill featuring Minimum Wage, Kick It!, and Egshan who all played great sets.  The response was great for the entire evening and there was a great feeling of accomplishment for everyone.  We Want to thanks everyone who came out and supported this cd as well as supported us.  We met some new people last night and we hope we will keep seeing your faces at upcoming shows.  Here’s 2 videos from last night’s show.  Thanks to Alex and Jorge from Pop Pistol for helping us capture these moments on film.

ledaswan, west coast tour → The Mix 07/10/07

The show at The Mix was a great kickoff for our upcoming tour.  Thanks to all of you who came.  Lots of friends that I had not seen for a while were there.  Egshan totally started off the evening making us feel good with songs from their upcoming CD, which I cannot wait to get.  I think they mentioned Aug 22nd as a release date?  Ledaswan came on a little after midnight and we had the greatest time playing for you guys that night.  Our new drummer Oscar totally nailed every song that night.  Thanks for giving him a great welcome.  Now, we are moving on to the upcoming tour.  Our first show is Wednesday in El Paso, TX.

ledaswan → New Drummer

Ledaswan has recently had to part ways with drummer Delrick Colwell. The split was amicable and we wish him the best on future endeavors. He is currently playing with a kick ass blues band called Swampmouth. Go check them out whenever you can.
We put out the word that we needed a drummer to help us out on our tour and the amount of people interested was overwhelming. We talked and met with some great people. There was one person who completely nailed his audition and that person will be playing his first show with us at The Mix tonight, July 10th. His name is Oscar Linares and he plays with Silent Minority. He will be playing the Mix show with us as well as going out with us on our West Coast Tour. We hope everyone gives him a big welcome tonight.
